A young tree, slender, straight, smooth barked, gracefully bowing in the winter’s gale.
An old tree, bent and gnarled, the bark moss laden, cracked and knotted standing firm against the stormy blast.
Two very different trees?
But NO! - the same tree with many years between.
Old age now shows maturity and a strength that’s evident to all that pass that way.
And like a tree that grows and changes in life’s ageing flow we can retain our unique character and inner strength if we but keep our roots in Love and Hope.
