(Anguished) Dear God!!! I’m not used to praying.
I hope you can hear me –
so far away, up there in heaven.
I’m told you know my heart
but still like to hear us pray
so I tried, anyway.

Did I get your title right?
Should I have said:
“Everlasting Father”,
“Almighty God”, “Maker of Heaven and Earth”?

Was the address right? “Highest Heaven, Beyond the Skies,
In Light Inaccessible”?

Do you have a postcode –
Or are you American, with a Zipcode?

If you answer, I’ll know you heard me.
Please drop me a line.
